| The Pines Cottages have been in continuous business now for over 75 years. This charming and rustic facility offers a quaint but convenient alternative to your typical chain lodging. Families love to gather here year round, weather it's enjoying conversation by the fireplace or relaxing on one of the lovely stone porches in the summer. Allen Shumaker purchased the property five years ago. Eventhough he is continuously making changes, improving the quality for his guests, the Pines appears much as it did in the begining. Many of the cottages have recently been refurbished to reflect a nostalgic feel. Although The Pines appears to step back into time, they offer some of the latest amminities. Such as wireless internet, cable television, and fully equipped kitchens. Being Pet friendly enables us to give our guests that extra incentive to bring along their whole family. We would like to take the opportunity to thank our devoted guests for coming back year after year, and hope you to will become part of The Pines Cottages family. |
